Today, I was checking out the latest post on the AspNet Podcast and was pretty excited about its new announcement. They have added David Penton as a co-host. Besides David being an Asp.Net Insider and a great addition to the podcast, I find it really cool due to the fact that I have been following David on Twitter for quite some time. Even though I have not had the pleasure of meeting him in person, I have come to know him as a pretty awesome person w/ a great sense of humor. Congratulations on joining the podcast crew, David, and I look forward to hearing the additions that you bring to the team!
On a side note, if you have not checked out AspNet Podcast, you should really take the time to hear them out. Typically, their posts focus on different aspects of Asp.Net, including new technologies, performance and scaling, developer events, etc. In fact, they recently had a rather excellent video podcast on Url Routing with Web Forms, which was a great help on my newest edition of this site (still in beta, lol). The podcast is currently run by Wallace McClure, Paul Glavich, and (now) David Penton. Although I have not had the pleasure of meeting Paul, I can say that Wally has been a huge asset to the Knoxville community as well as the local .Net Users group here in Knoxville.
Check them out!
